We combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and reliable results. It’s not just what we do—it’s how we do it that sets us apart.

If you're ready to begin working together, I recommend booking a 90-minute Holistic Discovery Session.
This comprehensive first session allows us to explore your current challenges, personal history, relationship patterns, and the deeper factors that may be contributing to what you're experiencing. It's the best option if you're ready to dive in and start creating meaningful change.
If you'd prefer to experience my approach before committing to ongoing sessions, you can book a 45-minute Breakthrough Session. This shorter session provides focused support around a specific challenge and gives you the opportunity to see whether we're a good fit to work together.

It's completely normal to feel nervous, unsure, or even a little anxious before your first session.
Many clients come to me knowing something isn't quite right but feeling uncertain about where to start or how to explain what they're experiencing. You don't need to have everything figured out before you arrive.
My role is to guide the conversation, ask questions, and help you explore what's been happening in a way that feels comfortable and manageable. You won't be expected to lead the session or know exactly what to say.
If you book a Holistic Discovery Session, we'll spend 90 minutes exploring your current challenges, personal history, relationships, family dynamics, coping patterns, and the areas of life where you'd like support. The purpose is to help me gain a thorough understanding of who you are and what may be contributing to the patterns you're experiencing.
If you book a Breakthrough Session, we'll focus on a specific challenge, situation, or concern that is impacting you right now. These sessions combine counselling, practical guidance, and insight to help you gain clarity and move forward with greater confidence.
You will never be pressured to discuss anything you don't feel ready to share. While I may gently ask questions to help us understand your experiences more deeply, we will always work at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.
Whether your session is online or in person, the process is much the same. My aim is to create a supportive, non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood, and at ease.
Many clients leave their first session feeling relieved, clearer about what's been happening, and reassured that they don't have to navigate it alone.
I think this version answers the emotional question behind the FAQ much better than the current version, while still explaining the practical differences between the session types.

No.
Energy work is not included in the Breakthrough Session, as this session is focused on counselling, guidance, and support around a specific challenge or situation.
However, energy work is usually included in all other holistic counselling sessions where appropriate and where time permits. Occasionally a client needs a full 90 minutes to talk through a situation and other times a client may prefer a longer energy work session. I will always honor your needs on the day.
Typically, around half of the session is spent exploring what is happening in your life, identifying patterns, gaining insight, and working through challenges.
The remaining time may include Reiki, guided meditation, crystal healing, colour therapy, or a combination of modalities that best support your needs on the day.
This integrated approach supports both insight and healing, helping you understand not only what is happening, but also what may be ready to shift.

Every person's journey is different.
Some people come seeking support for a specific challenge, while others want to work through patterns that have been present for many years.
In my experience, many clients begin noticing meaningful shifts after around seven sessions.
Deeper change often starts to occur between sessions twelve and sixteen as we build awareness, create new patterns, and address the underlying factors contributing to your struggles.
There is no fixed timeline, and we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you.

Both weekly and fortnightly sessions can be effective.
However, weekly sessions often provide greater continuity, especially in the early stages of the work.
Meeting weekly helps maintain momentum, build self-awareness more quickly, and create consistency while new insights and changes are unfolding.
Many clients begin with weekly sessions and later move to fortnightly appointments as they start to feel more secure, confident, and grounded in the progress they've made.

Item description

No.
Many people assume their experiences weren't significant enough to affect them because they compare themselves to others.
You don't need to have experienced extreme events to struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, or relationship difficulties.
Often it's the accumulation of small everyday experiences, such as needs not being met or not feeling valued or supported that people want help with.

My approach combines holistic counselling with complementary healing modalities.
Counselling helps us understand recurring patterns, limiting beliefs, relationship dynamics, emotional triggers, and the experiences that have shaped how you see yourself and the world.
Energy work supports the emotional and energetic aspects of healing.
Depending on your needs, sessions may include Reiki, meditation, crystal healing, colour therapy, or a combination of these approaches.
Everything is tailored to the individual. No two sessions are exactly the same.

While many clients choose holistic counselling specifically because of the integration of counselling and energy work, sessions are always tailored to your needs and comfort level.
I encourage you to discuss what feels right for you so we can create an approach that supports your goals.
-
That's completely okay.
Many people come to their first session with little or no experience of Reiki or other energy-based therapies.
You don't need to understand how it works before you begin.
Everything is explained clearly, and you are welcome to ask questions at any time.
My role is to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel comfortable throughout the process.
-
You don't need to arrive with all the answers.
Many people know something isn't working in their life but struggle to explain exactly why.
You may feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns, constantly second-guessing yourself, or unsure why the same challenges keep appearing.
Part of my role is helping you make sense of your experiences and uncover the unconscious thoughts and feelings that may be contributing to them.
Whether your focus is Childhood Trauma & Inner Child Healing, Attachment Trauma & Relationships, Self-Worth & People-Pleasing, or Finding Purpose & Identity, we'll work together to understand what's happening beneath the surface and create a path forward.
-
Holistic counselling provides an opportunity to go deeper into the factors that may be contributing to your current challenges.
While we do absolutely focus on goals and moving forward, we also spend time understanding the patterns, beliefs, emotions, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck and preventing you from achieving them.
